Dennis MacAlistair Rirchie is an American computer scientist who is considered instrumental in the development of the digital age. He is widely known as the creator of the C programming language
Dennis is also a key developer of the Unix operating system and the co-author of the book The C Programming Language. The C programming language is now widely used in applications, operating systems and embedded systems development.
Effect of the C programming language was strongly felt in most modern programming languages. All thanks to the services of a Dennis Ritchie.
Dennis worked with Ken Thompson, the scientist who is rated as the creator of the original Unix program. One of the greatest contributions to Unix Dennis is ported to different machines and platforms.
