Alert, Facebook Users So New Approach Virus

Microsoft has recently warned Facebook users against new threats that can hijack their accounts. Threats that are present in the Trojan variant disguised as a Google Chrome extension or add-on firefox.

That way, as quoted from Cnet, on Monday (13/05/2013), the user unknowingly install on Chrome and Firefox browser because it uses mistaken for an update.

First detected in Brazil, the Trojan is rumored to be able to update itself after it is installed on the user's browser. While it does is monitor the activity of users currently accessing Facebook accounts starting.

After gaining access into a facebook account user, the Trojan will be able to perform a number of activities to do Facebook users such as like, post, share, join groups, to chat with friends facebook user.

Even in some cases, the Trojan wrote a provocative sentence in Portuguese on the user's Facebook status. As is known, Brazil uses Portuguese as the national language.

Microsoft further explained, until now not known how many Facebook accounts are infected with the Trojan. but so far the Trojan was deliberately made just for Facebook users in the country eyeing Samba.

Even so, Microsoft still warns Facebook users in other countries. Because it is not possible later creator garapanya deliberately modify the Trojan to target Facebook users in other countries.
