BlackBerry combines the BBM to iOS & Android

Orlando - Shocking news coming back from BlackBerry Live 2013 event in Orlando, USA. Soon, BlackBerry Messenger service (BBM) will be present in iOS and Android.

Yes, BlackBerry CEO Thorstein Heins said that the fuel - which has been exclusively in BlackBerry OS - will soon open and present in other operating systems.

"Starting this summer, the fuel will be present in the cross-platform," Heins said, in the event BlackBerry Live.

"It is proof of our commitment to developing the experience BBM on other platforms as a whole. Later, users can share messages and create a group," he added.

Heins added, BBM cross platform would support the iDevice with iOS 6 and Android version Ice Cream Sandwich to the top.

"BB10 gives us confidence that with the presence of fuel into a stand-alone messaging services," he said.

  3. Hello Akbar, that was a great news for iOS and Android Users. But my point is, they have taken away most unique feature from there phone themselves. Blackberry smartphones had BBM that was not so common and people would buy it just to have bbm. By Introducing BBM on android and iOS, they have hammered their own sales. They might get a huge number of download as we all know people are crazy for sharing that BBM Pin, but still this might affect blackberry smartphones sale somewhere.

    Blackberry has recently launched new large screenphone with Android OS. Good for the people who still loves physical Keywboard.
