More Stringent, Microsoft Add Security Systems

Washington - Microsoft was touted to be the only technology giant that has not been introduced two-factor authentication or layered authentication to protect user accounts.

The latest news is quoted from Softpedia, Wednesday (04/10/2013) mentions, a software company based in Redmond, Washington, has tightened security users with the introduction of this new feature.

Softpedia reported, Microsoft now has a new security feature in Microsoft account services under development. New safety features include two-factor authentication is also implemented on mobile devices.

Basically, Microsoft plans to add new layers of security to the consumer account with the security code assigned at random. The security code is generated from the Authentication application installed in the device.

"This application issued a security code that can help secure your Microsoft account. Account you can add Microsoft to the application by scanning the bar code or manually enter the secret key," the description of the app description.

Currently, the mobile application is available in the Windows Phone Store. But for two-factor authentication feature, not yet released. Mentioned in the description, this security application meets industry standards and services as well as working with other providers.
