Written By Blog Walker on Apr 27, 2010 | 4/27/2010

Optimize Image
Images on a website or blog is very powerful in SEO. Current search engines can not index the text is in the picture, but it can index the attribute "ALT" in the picture. The text in the ALT attribute will appear if the visitor does not appear in the image browser to speed up browsing either intentionally or unintentionally by visitors.
Search Suggestions:

* Use ALT attribute that clearly and concisely explain the picture.

* Using filename containing the image description or keyword.

For example, better use

kupu.jpg butterfly, ghamebangget.gif

than

image001.jpg, fotoku.gif

* Use ALT attribute if the image is used as the link is mandatory, the same function with the anchor text in link text.

* Put all images in a particular directory on a web site.

* Use a common file type (JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP).
Common mistakes in SEO that should be avoided:

* Do not use the ALT attribute.

* Attribute ALT keyword is too long or filled to excess.
